Job Summary:

Randstad is seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming PLCs and HMIs from scratch, with a preference for Siemens S7. However, candidates with experience in Allen-Bradley or similar systems and a willingness to learn S7 will also be considered. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automation systems for various production processes
  • Design and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation components
  • Analyze automated processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide technical support for automation systems and equipment
  • Manage automation projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution
Requirements:
  • BS Electrical Engineering or similar preferred
  • 4+ years of industrial automation experience required
  • Experience programming PLCs from scratch desired, HMIs as well
  • Experience with Siemens S7 or the desire to learn
  • Strong communication skills and team player mindset required
