Job Description

Wood Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex systems and ensuring their technical integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatibility with defined system architectures.
  • Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications.
  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of requirements to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience/subject matter expertise in Algorithm Evolution (AE), Post Quantum Computing (PQC)/Quantum Resistant (QR), and/or Next Gen authenticators in relation to PKI or KMI.
