Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and analytical EHS Specialist to join our team in Mentor, Ohio. This role will be part of our EHS team, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data for mandatory and voluntary reporting, as well as calculating our carbon footprint.
  • Compile and analyze safety data, including incidents, TRIR, DART, near-miss occurrences, and safety observations.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports for board meetings, highlighting key ESG metrics and progress.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and enhance relevant ESG data points across the organization.
  • Assist in EHS strategic planning to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Travel occasionally nationwide to conduct audits and training, establishing impactful ESG initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated passion for EHS principles, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a safety (EHS) role.
  • Highly organized self-starter with excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Experience with ISO 14001/45001 standards is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally (approximately 15%).
