Native Health is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary patient care, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and follow-up services to patients under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary patient care, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and follow-up services to patients under your care.
- Document all patient-provider interactions following healthcare standards.
- Participate as an active member of an integrated patient-centered team.
- Support the organization as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
- Must have a permanent and unrestricted license to practice as a nurse practitioner in Arizona.
- Must have current board certification in family medicine and maintain current medication dispensing license (DEA).
- At least 3 years of experience in a family practice or comparable setting is required.
- Experience in a community health center setting is preferred.
- Current ACLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of current evidence-based family medicine guidelines.
- Skills in providing diagnostic, preventive, and/or therapeutic services to patients.
- Ability to work effectively with staff members who have a variety of backgrounds and training.
- Ability to plan own work and carry out assignments effectively.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to work.
