We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at S and T Bank. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling a variety of transactions, and promoting our bank's services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide quality service to customers, suggesting solutions and options to meet their needs, and referring them to appropriate areas of the bank as needed.
- Transaction Handling: Handle a variety of transactions, including accepting deposits, verifying endorsements, and issuing receipts, as well as accepting checks or coupons for cashing and verifying balances.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge of bank products and services, including consumer banking services, and promote them to customers as opportunities arise.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other bank employees to achieve sales and service goals, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Training and Development: Attend and successfully complete all required training on customer service information inquiry computer systems, regulatory and product knowledge, and other relevant topics.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
- Experience: One to two years of general experience and successful completion of the retail training program.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer systems and software.
This position requires standing for 2 hours per day, sitting for 5 hours per day, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
