PROPÓSITO/SUMARIO DEL PUESTO:
Este puesto apoya al Director de Recursos de Aprendizaje en todos los aspectos de los servicios, recursos y programas de la biblioteca que benefician a todas las ubicaciones de la institución y al sistema de Colegios Comunitarios de Colorado, así como a otros interesados. Las responsabilidades incluyen ofrecer asistencia en referencia e investigación, diseñar materiales educativos, organizar guías temáticas, objetos de aprendizaje digital y otros recursos para mejorar y educar sobre la alfabetización informativa y las habilidades de investigación, gestionar contenido de plataformas como Springshare, actualizar el contenido del sitio web de la biblioteca, proporcionar acceso y gestión de colecciones bibliotecarias, ayudar en el desarrollo de colecciones, supervisar el sistema ILS, tareas de circulación y catalogación, participar en la planificación estratégica y recomendaciones de políticas, y promover la presencia de la biblioteca en el campus y en la comunidad.
CUALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:
- Título de Maestría en Bibliotecología de una institución acreditada por la ALA.
- Experiencia en la provisión de asistencia en referencia.
- Conocimiento de las mejores prácticas en alfabetización informativa.
- Habilidades efectivas de comunicación verbal, escrita y de presentación.
- Espíritu colaborativo con la capacidad de construir relaciones positivas con grupos diversos.
- Excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente, organización, resolución de problemas y la capacidad de multitarea y priorizar con atención al detalle.
- Dominio de Microsoft Office y disposición para aprender nuevos software.
- Disponibilidad de horario flexible, incluyendo noches y fines de semana ocasionales. Preparado para posibles horas largas e irregulares para proyectos especiales y cumplimiento de plazos.
CUALIFICACIONES PREFERIDAS:
- Experiencia con software de Springshare (Libguides, Libchat y otras aplicaciones de Lib).
- Experiencia en la provisión de instrucción en alfabetización informativa.
- Conocimiento de catalogación según estándares nacionales.
- Antecedentes en bibliotecas académicas o entornos de educación superior.
- Comprensión de las leyes de Uso Justo y regulaciones de derechos de autor.
- Familiaridad con Recursos Educativos Abiertos.
- Experiencia en trabajo bibliotecario a nivel supervisión o administrativo.
Salario y Beneficios:
$58,600 a $66,895 basado en educación, habilidades y experiencia. Incluye seguro de salud, vida, dental y de visión, LTD y reembolso de matrícula de acuerdo con las políticas del Sistema de Colegios Comunitarios de Colorado y Educación Ocupacional.
