Dynamic Opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in Hospitalist Role
Position Overview:
- This facility boasts a closed ICU with around-the-clock intensivist support. We are in search of Board-Certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants who possess at least one year of hospitalist experience.
- Core Responsibilities: Engage in patient rounds, oversee admissions and discharges, and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions. Geographic rounding is encouraged when possible.
- Active participation in rapid response and code teams is essential. All team members are required to hold certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, with intensivists leading the response during emergencies.
- Regular lunch meetings are held to foster open communication, address concerns, and provide updates.
- Shifts are scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM.
- We are open to considering candidates for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. Full-time roles involve a commitment of seven consecutive days on duty followed by a week off.
- Utilization of the Meditech system along with access to an internal informatics platform is expected.
- A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with matching contributions, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, as well as an annual CME allowance. Additionally, a Path to Partnership program is available to support your career advancement.
