Job Title: UT Shear Wave Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled UT Shear Wave Technician to join our team at Acuren Inspection. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections using shear wave technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate NDT equipment to conduct inspections
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop and implement inspection techniques to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Evaluate inspection results and report findings
  • May perform specialized inspections and instruct others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Certified Level II UTSW
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
