We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care, a 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality direct resident care, utilizing the nursing process and judgment to set priorities and make decisions promoting resident safety and well-being.
- Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan, considering lab results, incidents, and concerns.
- Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and resident responses.
- Prepare and oversee the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff.
