Position Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring financial integrity and strategic alignment across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a focus on variance reporting.
  • Establish and enforce internal control policies and procedures related to budget management, cash flow, credit, and accounting practices.
  • Generate and communicate key financial and operational metrics to stakeholders.
  • Identify and advocate for technology enhancements to streamline reporting and planning processes, thereby improving operational efficiency.
  • Review and enhance financial reporting systems to maintain robust internal controls.
  • Guide various departments on accounting practices, budgeting protocols, and the effective use of financial resources.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to uncover opportunities for growth and areas needing improvement.
  • Provide strategic advice to management regarding financial goals, policies, and actionable steps.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  • Experience within large international corporations.
