Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Perform exercise and tilt table testing to diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions
  • Assist in electrophysiologic studies, including insertion of temporary pacing catheters and intracardiac mapping
  • Conduct initial and follow-up history and physical exams on arrhythmia service outpatients and inpatients
  • Perform bedside procedures related to arrhythmia evaluation, such as EKGs and carotid sinus massage
  • Evaluate post-operative wounds and participate in the recruitment and care of patients in research protocols
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certified by the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Physician Assistant license by New York State
  • Ability to travel between campuses
