Job Summary:

The Insurance Sales Agent will be responsible for selling personal insurance policies, including Auto, Home, and Life, to our 2 million+ AAA members in the Carolinas. This is a full-time exempt position that requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and close insurance sales to AAA members
  • Sell various types of personal lines insurance, including Auto, Home, and Life, while developing synergy with other AAA businesses
  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure proper product and service delivery
  • Interact with policyholders to explain coverage, suggest additions or changes, and review portfolio in detail
  • Deliver a superior customer service experience while developing new business relationships and maintaining current AAA relationships
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Current Life Insurance Sales license
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
  • Proven professional sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Personal Lines, including Auto, Home, and Life
  • Active Property & Casualty Licenses or degree in Insurance or Risk Management (or comparable)
  • Holds or pursuing professional insurance designations (AINS, CIC, CPCU, or other)
  • College level coursework or recent graduate
Work Environment:

This role requires a varying amount of time spent in off-site locations, soliciting and selling products, and attending meetings. The ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential. When not at off-site locations, the Insurance Sales Agent will work in a temperature-controlled branch location.
