Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful environment on buses and at bus stops.
  • Develop and implement effective transportation plans to meet the needs of our students and staff.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other district staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure buses are in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing transportation regulations and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our transportation services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, transportation, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a transportation or related role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with students, parents, and staff.
