Your Role in Empowering Music Educators

As a Music Education Advocate, you will be instrumental in developing, nurturing, and expanding relationships with educators, school administrators, and influential figures within your designated area. Your mission is to create a strong network of advocates for music education, ensuring that their needs are met with exceptional service and customized solutions for their rental, repair, and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain meaningful connections with educators and key stakeholders, proactively addressing their needs and enhancing their experience through outstanding customer service.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, crafting strategic plans to strengthen our presence and deepen relationships with educators, ultimately driving sales and building trust.
  • Engage with educators through regular in-person and virtual meetings, remaining attuned to their evolving needs while participating in relevant conferences and events.
  • Manage daily and long-term tasks across your portfolio to sustain and enhance sales, providing valuable insights to improve both B2B and B2B2C interactions.
  • Promote our educational initiatives, raising awareness and facilitating access to a wealth of resources.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop strategies that boost student participation and retention in music programs, enriching their educational experience.
  • Offer dedicated support through recruitment, demonstrations, testing, and rental events, ensuring educators have the necessary tools to foster thriving music programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Music Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Band and/or Orchestral instruments; prior experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with a genuine passion for music education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to travel, with a valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible scheduling, including availability for evening work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with educators and/or in the music industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking individuals.
