Job Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified candidate for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong national/international reputation in the field of scientific research, with a record of independent or collaborative extramural funding, high-impact publications, and expertise in clinical or health services/outcomes research related to women's health.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching responsibilities may include an active role in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows, including participation in the formal curriculum.
- Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and/or ambulatory care in obstetrics and gynecology or a subspecialty of Ob/Gyn, depending on the candidate's expertise and interests.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical or health services/outcomes research related to women's health, with a focus on implementation science, health services/policy, or health economics.
Requirements:
- An M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree.
- A strong national/international reputation in the field of scientific research.
- A record of independent or collaborative extramural funding.
- High-impact publications.
