Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Nurse 1 to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with a range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a culture of compassion and respect.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Less than 15 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
