We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced nursing professional to join our faculty team as a Lecturer in the School of Nursing. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position that will report to the department chairperson.
Key Responsibilities- Teach clinical nursing courses in the BSN program, utilizing a variety of teaching methods, including traditional classroom instruction, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching.
- Advise students in the BSN program, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring that it is current, relevant, and aligned with the needs of the nursing profession.
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) and one year of professional nursing practice experience, or a bachelor's degree (BSN) with two years of professional nursing practice experience.
- Initial appointment requires one year of professional nursing practice experience.
- Applicants with two years of teaching experience in nursing are encouraged to apply.
- Evidence of current experience in adult health nursing practice sufficient to demonstrate professional competence.
- Unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
