Job Summary

The Director of Admissions and International Programs will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic enrollment plans to attract and retain highly qualified students. This role will oversee all aspects of the admission process, including recruitment, retention, and international student programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual admission and enrollment action plans with clear goals and objectives
  • Provide leadership in admission, recruitment, and retention, and direct the process of attracting and enrolling students
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive recruitment and retention strategies to achieve long-term enrollment goals
  • Oversee all on-campus visitation programs, including interviews, tours, and OpenHouses
  • Represent the Admission Office and School at public events, on and off campus
  • Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Committee and work collaboratively with administration, advancement, and business office to leverage financial aid and scholarships
  • Maintain and encourage relationships with feeder schools, counselors, and consultants
  • Seek professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in recruitment and retention of students
  • Work with the Director of Communications and Assistant Director of Admissions to develop a yearly marketing strategy
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of the department's master calendar with relation to recruitment events, campus visit programs, correspondence, and other recruitment activities
  • Oversee all aspects of the International Student Program, including recruitment, orientation, cultural activities, and liaison to the OEEC for SEVIS purposes
  • Work with the Leadership team to develop cross-cultural connections and opportunities for Northwest Catholic students, both international and domestic
  • Make contact with families who choose to leave Northwest Catholic to track trends in attrition and retention
  • Extend oneself beyond the responsibilities of a job description when the need arises and assist the Principal with all other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and valid driver's license
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive admissions/enrollment experience or comparable experience in education
  • Experience in planning and implementing a comprehensive recruitment program
  • Adequate physical ability to navigate the campus and travel abroad
  • Ability to lift 10-20 lbs
  • Ability to manage Microsoft Office applications and admissions software and technology
  • This is a full-time, twelve-month, administrative position. The ability to be available for evening events, weekends, and travel is required
