About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team at County Ready Mix Corporation. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for delivering ready-mixed concrete to work sites daily, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver ready mixed concrete to work sites daily, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use water hoses to clean the mixer between loads, maintaining a clean and efficient operation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in the mixer, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
  • Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant, maintaining accurate records.
  • Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Work Environment

As a Ready Mix Driver, you will work in outdoor weather conditions, near moving machinery and equipment, and alongside moving traffic on roads. You must be able to lift objects of various dimensions and weights up to 50-100 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.

Requirements
  • Must possess a Class B or A CDL license with air brake endorsement.
  • Maintain an active DOT qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required; will train drivers in Ready-Mix procedures.
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment, self-motivated, and flexible to accommodate client needs.
