Job Title: Snowmaker - Winter Season

Join Winter Park Resort as a Snowmaker - Winter Season and be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the resort's snowmaking systems are in top condition. As a Snowmaker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the resort's snowmaking infrastructure, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional skiing and snowboarding experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-operation checkout and fueling of snowmobiles
  • Perform basic grooming functions from Controller/Lead/Supervisor
  • Secure work site in a reasonably safe manner
  • Inform Supervisor/Lead of scheduled jobs not completed
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date logs on equipment used
  • Maintain a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively dealing with guests, mechanics, and other employees
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in understanding the mechanics of snow movement and snowmaking systems is desirable
  • Experience as snowmaker/skiing trail crew desirable
  • Possess a valid, non-restricted motor vehicle license
  • Able to work irregular hours and to maintain a high level of caution and common sense while performing duties
Working Conditions:

This position will require working in a mountain environment with exposure to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc. The degree of strenuous activity within the job is considered to be high, with frequent lifting of weights up to 80 pounds.
