Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II to join our team in developing infrastructure for managing deep learning models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with applied scientists to build scalable solutions for real-world challenges. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying features across our regions globally. A day in the life of this role involves building and owning software related to maintaining the world's largest fleets of robotic and safety system hardware.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $250,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This role requires 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. Additionally, the candidate should have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience architecting and developing in the AWS cloud
  • Some familiarity with Deep Learning models for perception
