About the Role
At Chi, we are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Specialist to join our team. As a Surgical Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various surgical equipment and advanced instrumentation in multiple specialties.
- Design and deliver continuing education topics to support the development of our surgical team.
- Collaborate with Instrument Technicians to ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Assist in the communication with Biomedical Services regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
- Provide education and training to staff on the proper care and handling of instrumentation and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) certification.
- Three (3) years of experience in a surgical setting.
- Able to work in multiple specialty areas.
