Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage catering operations in collaboration with the Food and Beverage Sales Manager.
  • Ensure efficient, profitable, and professional food service operations.
  • Act as the primary contact for guests post-contract, addressing all inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Coordinate with culinary staff to guarantee that all guest specifications are communicated and fulfilled.
  • Maintain an organized schedule of upcoming events and manage staff assignments accordingly.
  • Supervise front-of-house staff during events, ensuring professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Chef to oversee back-of-house operations, ensuring timely and quality food service.
  • Monitor labor and food costs to ensure profitability of catered events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the catering department.
  • Assist in the overall operations of the Food Service Department.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for candidates who have supervisory experience and a background in large volume catering. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and local health codes is essential.

Physical Requirements:

This role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Compensation:

The hourly pay range for this position reflects the base compensation, with actual pay determined by various factors including experience and qualifications.
