Bellefaire JCB is a leading provider of mental health, substance abuse, education, and prevention services. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in engaging clients and their families to provide care coordination services through OhioRISE and initiate the completion of the CANS assessment and intake paperwork.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate clinical assessments based on verbal, written, and/or face-to-face interviews to determine the appropriate level of treatment for clients.
- Provide face-to-face admission with clients and guardians, completing all required clinical and administrative paperwork.
- Make recommendations for community or national agencies if Bellefaire JCB is unable to cover the needed service.
- Assist in departmental coverage of incoming referrals, outreach, and CANS assessments.
- Manage a diverse caseload of referrals representing the Agency's service array.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
- Valid Ohio LSW, LISW, or PCC preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the mental health field required; experience working with youth and their families preferred.
