Job Summary
The RN Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the physician practice management team at Berkshire Health Systems. This role serves as the lead clinician, working collaboratively with the Practice Management team to supervise clinical staff in an Ambulatory setting. The RN Clinical Supervisor coordinates and assigns work activities, monitors schedules, and supports quality initiatives to improve workflows and clinical effectiveness. This position leads nursing practice oversight, trains and mentors new staff, and systematically collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop and execute the plan of care. The RN Clinical Supervisor utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health, considering factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care. This role requires a minimum of three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with physician practice experience preferred. The RN Clinical Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, or an Associate's degree in Nursing combined with enrollment or acceptance into a BSN program. The RN License is required, with CPR certification also necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
