Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist with the coordination of patient care and outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, and communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state laws, as well as all required regulations and policies.
- Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction and appropriateness of patient care and/or department operations.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required.
- Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
