Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Executive Director to lead our technical platform's strategic and tactical use. This role will oversee information technology, audio/visual support, and telecommunications, guiding the organization through transformation and standardization. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, efficient best practice technology solutions across the continuum of care.


About the Role:


This highly visible position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a key member of the executive team. The IT Executive Director will work closely with IBJI's Board, comprised of Physician Leadership, providing expert counsel and guidance on various issues from an IT and strategic business perspective. They will be responsible for developing technology vision and strategic plans aligned with the organization's strategies and goals.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring they work collaboratively across the organization.
  • IT Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement a technology vision that supports the organization's goals and objectives.
  • IT Governance: Establish and enforce IT policies, best practices, processes, and systems.
  • People Management: Hire, develop, appraise, reward, manage, and retain a highly qualified IT team.
  • Change Management: Act as an agent of change, introducing new concepts of service and technology processes.
  • Customer Service Model: Create a state-of-the-art customer service model that offers high-quality relationship repair, remediation, and service.
  • Enterprise Security: Develop a cyber-security landscape and proactively prepare the organization for data protection.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring performance against budgeted targets.

Requirements:



  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including change management, program management, governance, and strategy development.
  • A master's degree in healthcare administration, Information Services, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Experience in a complex integrated healthcare delivery system, preferably with Epic EMR experience.
  • Possesses proven capabilities in enterprise-wide business intelligence/analytics strategy development.
  • Exceptional communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with executives and clinicians.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
