Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist

TCP Analytical, a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumable products for the life science research and specialty chemical markets, is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing designated existing accounts, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and working with customers to solve problems. This role will collaborate with internal teams and sell lab and production chemicals to various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day account duties, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, and order monitoring.
  • Proactively target company-generated leads and develop pipeline opportunities.
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop relationships within customers' organizations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Communicate with leadership and internal team members regarding sales activity and pipeline.
  • Demonstrate TCPA's core competencies and expand knowledge of chemicals and their applications.
  • Handle customer complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances through negotiation.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent/applicable experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales, pricing, contracts, finance, or related experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Foster positive and productive working relationships with customers and sales team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and have excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and problem-solve.
  • Highly motivated, ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented.
