Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Expert to join our team at Truist. As a Senior Risk Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing risks and controls across our Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic risk advice and guidance to Business Unit leadership
  • Concur with key risk decisions and escalate unacceptable risks
  • Monitor risk exposures and ensure they stay within risk appetite
  • Opine on new or revised risk program requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve risk visibility within the Business Unit

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Twelve years of experience in risk management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Proven leadership and management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Business
  • 15 years of banking or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting systems
