Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Expert to join our team at Truist. As a Senior Risk Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing risks and controls across our Business Units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic risk advice and guidance to Business Unit leadership
- Concur with key risk decisions and escalate unacceptable risks
- Monitor risk exposures and ensure they stay within risk appetite
- Opine on new or revised risk program requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve risk visibility within the Business Unit
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- Twelve years of experience in risk management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership and management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance or Business
- 15 years of banking or relevant experience
- Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting systems
