As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising personnel, addressing employee relations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop assigned personnel to achieve production goals.
  • Proactively address employee relations and performance issues.
  • Lead project teams to meet quality, productivity, and cost targets.
  • Manage performance of direct reports, including hiring and discipline.
  • Build and maintain business relationships across the company.
  • Manage product line staff, including performance evaluations and training.
  • Promote and enforce a safety culture, conducting regular safety training and audits.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to drive business success.
  • Organize work schedules and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate with Planning to maintain inventory and production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Background in Lean/Six Sigma (certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of employee selection, development, and training
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with technology and best practices on multiple platforms
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Initiative to develop new strategies and innovative ideas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, JDE, CRM, and scheduling software

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Management, or related field
  • Required: High School Diploma
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production
