Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining clinical information systems to improve patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement clinical information systems to meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
  • Develop and maintain clinical decision support systems to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to identify and prioritize clinical information system needs.
  • Develop and implement training programs for healthcare providers and staff on the use of clinical information systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical information systems and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical information systems and healthcare technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience with clinical decision support systems and healthcare analytics.
  • Certification in clinical informatics or a related field.
