Tire Maintenance Worker I Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of tire maintenance and repair techniques. As a Tire Maintenance Worker I, you will be responsible for changing and repairing tires on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change and repair tires on a variety of vehicles
  • Work in a tire shop environment with dirty, greasy conditions and fumes
  • Perform strenuous physical exertion
  • Work shift work, weekend work, and be subject to callback
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in changing and repairing automobile, truck, or heavy equipment tires
  • Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or equivalent out-of-state driver's license
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions
Selection Process:

All candidates indicating the minimum qualifications on their applications will be placed on the eligible list without further examination. The training and experience of each candidate will be evaluated for appropriateness and quantity.
