Responsibilities

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to influence a patient's journey by:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors to the clinic with professionalism and courtesy; ensuring a smooth check-in process and notifying clinical staff of patient arrivals.
  • Providing and clarifying necessary paperwork for patients to complete prior to their examination; ensuring all forms are accurate and filed appropriately; updating patient demographics and insurance details in the system; collecting co-pays and outstanding balances.
  • Responding to routine inquiries with clarity and efficiency.
  • Completing the patient check-in and check-out process post-examination; scheduling follow-up appointments in accordance with office protocols.
  • Documenting patient cancellations and missed appointments; rescheduling as necessary and informing relevant staff members.
  • Offering general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
