Job Summary:
Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) play a vital role in the healthcare team, providing hands-on care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. At Not Just Staffing, we're seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in Mint Hill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vitals and record them in their file
- Maintain patient cleanliness and comfort, including bathing, feeding, and dressing
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update patient records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate patient wellbeing and report any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
- Change dressings and bandages to ensure proper healing
- Transfer patients safely between wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys
Requirements:
Must be a licensed practical nurse with a strong understanding of patient care and medical procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
