Key Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory. For RNs whose licenses have been inactive for five years or more, successful completion of a board-approved refresher course is necessary for reactivation or reinstatement.
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience is desirable.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the relevant state is required, with advanced certifications as needed.
  • Essential Skills: Excellent customer service, effective communication, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and computer proficiency are essential. Additional training may be required by the department.
