Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Controller assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing all daily financial operations, including month-end close review, analysis, and action planning, as well as daily key performance indicator monitoring and oversight of supply chain and revenue cycle operations. This role is crucial for safeguarding hospital assets and ensuring financial integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in long-term and short-term financial planning processes
  • Oversee finance teams for Lab and GME entities
  • Ensure SOX compliance and conduct regular audits
  • Complete timely month-end reporting and performance analysis
  • Prepare annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Conduct revenue, cost, and service line analysis
  • Work closely with the CFO on financial operations initiatives
Requirements:I. Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
II. Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in hospital accounting or finance required
  • 7 years of experience preferred
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
  • CPA certification preferred but not required
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial operations
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite
