Job Description
Brock & Scott is seeking a talented, experienced, and motivated developer to join our dynamic IT team. This development position will focus mainly on backend development, playing a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, with a primary focus on C#, ASP.NET, JSON, and SQL. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong foundation in coding and a desire to expand their skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other developers and project managers in the design and implementation of software solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain code for various applications using C#, ASP.NET, JSON, and SQL.
- Implement and optimize database structures and queries to support application functionality.
- Work on Flat File Import processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data integration.
- Contribute to front-end development with experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.
- Integrate and optimize workflows using Power Automate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET, JSON, SQL, and Flat File Import processes.
- Basic experience with HTML, CSS, PowerShell, Power Automate, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of security best practices in software development.
