Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals is essential, facilitated by effective communication. Compliance with policies, industry standards, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations is mandatory to ensure a high-quality patient experience. Continuous professional growth and development in nursing practice is encouraged.

Job Description:

FULL-TIME DAY SHIFTS: Weekdays Varied / Every Other Weekend

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • RN - Registered Nurse in California
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Valid Driver's License Class C
  • Automobile Insurance

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong understanding of nursing theories, concepts, and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry, safety policies, best practices for patient care and privacy, and regulatory changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey sensitive information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work within established policies and procedures to meet objectives.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
  • Commitment to maintaining the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI).
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

The salary range for this role may vary based on location and other factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, and departmental needs. Compensation is part of a comprehensive benefits package.
