Job Summary

NorthCare is seeking a dedicated Mobile Crisis Response Specialist to provide immediate, solution-focused care to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community. As a key member of our Mobile Crisis Response Team, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and stabilization through in-person and telehealth support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization through in-person and telehealth support.
  • Collaborate with first responders, the NorthCare Crisis line, and 988 dispatch for rapid assistance.
  • Develop individualized crisis/safety plans to maintain client stability in their community.
  • Offer short-term case management, linking clients to ongoing care and advocating for their needs within the community.
  • Ensure family involvement when appropriate, fostering a supportive network for long-term recovery.

Requirements:
  • Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager II with a minimum of 3 years' experience in community mental health (CMII/PRSS dual certification preferred).
  • Flexibility, efficiency, and a passion for working in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in MS Word and general computer skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of hire).
  • Reliable transportation, valid Oklahoma driver's license, and automobile liability insurance.
