Job Title: CCNA MCSE Certified System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled CCNA MCSE System Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at Compunnel Inc.

Job Overview

As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure and server systems. Your strong understanding of network protocols and technologies will ensure optimal performance and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network infrastructure and server systems to meet business needs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and related Windows Server services to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed to ensure system reliability and uptime.
  • Ensure system security through regular updates, patch management, and vulnerability assessments to protect against cyber threats.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on systems and network issues to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Document network configurations, system changes, and support processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications:
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in system engineering, network administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex system issues.
  • Excellent understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
