Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team at 1199SEIU Funds. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and implement operating systems and server hardware across the enterprise
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network servers, application servers, and database servers
  • Install, configure, and administer VMware, Windows, and server-associated components
  • Ensure a healthy Windows Active Directory environment through group policy management and security configuration
  • Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements
  • Drive initiatives to improve cloud infrastructure, on-premises servers, and hybrid environments
  • Configure and manage cloud platforms, including Exchange Online, Azure Cloud, MFA, and data security policies
  • Collaborate with network engineering, business application, and database administration units to ensure server and system resources meet business demands
  • Analyze and monitor servers using monitoring software to provide proactive solutions
  • Manage server and application patches, and support information security system guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows operating system administration and 3 years in Unix/Linux administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud Technologies
  • Knowledge of Azure resources and management, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Expert-level proficiency in Windows 2016/2019, Group Policy, and Active Directory
