Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate hiring and placement of team members, monitor staffing conditions, and track work hours and overtime.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with company rules, policies, and practices, and take corrective action when warranted.
  • Manage and appraise team member job performance, recommending corrective action as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive team member relations, emphasizing safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction, and morale.
  • Provide direction and motivation to team members, emphasizing safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction, and morale.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of relevant manufacturing experience required; minimum two years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred, with parts production, quality, or production control experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Toyota Production System (TPS) and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system preferred.
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment, with moderate noise levels and occasional presence of disagreeable conditions. Travel is minimal.

Physical Demands:

The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time, with occasional climbing, stooping, or bending. May be required to lift up to 30-50 pounds.
