We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at Saviance. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Epic systems infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the Epic environment, as well as collaborating with other IT teams and healthcare professionals to optimize system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, configure, and maintain Epic systems and related applications.
* Monitor system performance, perform regular maintenance, and implement updates and patches.
* Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the Epic environment.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls by security policies.
* Provide tier-2 and tier-3 support for Epic-related issues and incidents.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the Epic infrastructure.
* Collaborate with Epic support teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.
* Implement and enforce security best practices to protect patient data and comply with HIPAA regulations.
* Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
* Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
* Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
* Train and support end-users and other IT staff on Epic system functionalities.
* Work closely with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and operation of Epic systems.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
* Epic Certification in relevant modules (required).
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Hands-on experience with Epic systems and related technologies.
* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms - Azure is a plus.
* Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
* Strong knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
* Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
