Responsibilities

As a CRNA, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing counseling and education to patients about procedures and options
  • Performing thorough physical examinations and histories
  • Assessing and evaluating patients to determine the best course of action
  • Developing patient-centered plans for analgesia, anesthesia, and pain management
  • Selecting, prescribing, and administering pre-anesthetic medications and anesthetic agents
  • Implementing patient-specific plans of care, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, sedation, and multi-modal pain management
  • Assessing airway, vital signs, and interpreting diagnostic data
  • Engaging in safe perioperative patient care practices, including the use of anesthesia equipment and oxygen therapy
  • Facilitating emergence and recovery from anesthesia
  • Providing comprehensive patient-centered pain management and acute pain services
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current and valid state RN license
  • A current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • A current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • A current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
  • A minimum of one year previous anesthesia experience or on-the-job training
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
