Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine inspections of the hotel's mechanical systems to identify and address any issues or safety hazards.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including those related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the optimal performance of our mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in HVAC/refrigeration or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering/maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification and ability to meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
