Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of up to 10 direct reports, along with additional team members.
  • Employ data-driven analytical tools to consistently evaluate operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and formulate optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated on customs regulations and revise company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare necessary data for customs submissions and reporting obligations.
  • Address customer concerns with operations teams and strategize improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assess company compliance performance, generate reports for senior management, and devise strategic plans to adapt to potential schedule and policy changes.
  • Guide and engage in customs compliance audits, both internal and external, and prepare necessary documentation to maintain compliance with current regulations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
  • Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and support, conducting regular performance reviews to recognize achievements and address performance challenges promptly.
  • Oversee resource allocation in designated areas to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
  • Adhere to industry and organizational safety standards.
  • Ensure project and departmental objectives align with the organization’s overarching goals and drive them to fruition.
  • Encourage team participation in improvement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, compliance, and supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate teams and guide the organization towards operational success.
  • Exemplary integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability to modify strategies in response to a dynamic business landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
