Key Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee both front and back-of-house operations within the food service departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing supervisory duties in alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Facilitating employee meetings and training initiatives.
  • Overseeing safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols.
  • Managing food costs while upholding quality standards.
  • Actively participating in team development and management.
  • Handling purchasing and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive culinary management experience.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor under pressure and inspire the team.
  • A strong passion for culinary excellence.
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP protocols and proper food storage practices.
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation.
  • Familiarity with P&L and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of budgeting, labor costs, and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relationship management.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
