We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Drainage Engineer - Senior to join our team at AECOM in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Develop and implement drainage design procedures to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates for projects.
  • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
  • Prepare technical specification sections for drainage design.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, plus 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in drainage design on transportation projects, including schematic development and PS&E preparation.
  • Texas PE license and TxDOT pre-certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with SUDA and TxDOT Houston District is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
