Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to maintain law and order and to prevent and detect crime
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
• Investigate crimes and collect evidence
• Testify in court as required
• Work closely with other law enforcement agencies to ensure effective delivery of public safety services

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid TCOLE certification
• Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State of Texas
• Must have an acceptable driving record
