The Steam Police, a leader in residential and commercial carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, and other services is seeking applications for Custodial Staff in the Webster, NY area. A person in this role will be responsible for various custodial tasks depending on the client's needs and location. Such tasks may include general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, trash duties, sanitation, etc. Applicants must have reliable transportation, able to work with little or no supervision, and be punctual and self-motivated.Custodial Staff Job Duties. Job duties vary per location.Main Activities:Clean offices, hallways, and other areas as assignedMop tile and concrete floor areasVacuuml carpeted areasDust all furniture and fixtures as requiredWash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers and fixtures •Clean all mirrorsReplenish toilet tissue and soap as neededEmpty all waste baskets and garbage cansPlace garbage in outside storage binClean entrance and exit including glass, doors and hardwareKeep outside area near exit and entrance clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.Clean, wash and disinfect drinking fountainsWash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glassPerform and/or report minor maintenance repairsClean kitchen sinks and countersReport damages and acts of vandalismWash and buff floors with floor polisherWash entrance and exit floorsSpot clean walls and toilet partitions
